About Us

Hospitality runs in our family. Since 2017, Max Lustenberger Junior has been running the Thorenberg in the fourth generation. As a trained hotel manager, chef, and federally certified gastronomy entrepreneur, he combines experience and expertise with the tradition of the family business.

At his side are his wife Karin, son Jonas, his parents Max and Monika Lustenberger, as well as the entire Thorenberg team. Together, with great commitment and personal hospitality, they ensure that our guests feel completely at home.

Since 1927, the Gasthaus Thorenberg has been owned by the Lustenberger family and is lovingly continued from generation to generation.

Today, Max and Karin Lustenberger, together with their dedicated team, continue this family tradition. They combine the values and personal hospitality of past generations with the demands of today's times.

What has counted for almost 100 years remains unchanged to this day: Our guests should feel welcome and comfortable with us – and gladly return.
